WHAT'S GOING ON (At the beginning of June)

Pull up those parachute pants, straighten that skinny tie and wind your Swatch watch because it's time for New Wave Summer!  Listen for your favorite 80's New Wave songs by the B-52's, Eurythmics, Depeche Mode, Duran Duran, Devo, Blondie, Talking Heads, The Cure and many, many more.

People in the U.S. alone spent over 1500 hours with KJRW in May.  Also tops in listening were:  Canada, Spain, Belarus, Italy, Mexico, Serbia, Germany, France and the U.K.

WHAT'S GOING ON (at the beginning of May)

KJRW is now enjoyed on almost every continent on the globe!  Tops in listening were:  the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Spain, Switzerland, Hungary, Italy, Brazil, France, Belarus and the U.K. 

In fact, folks are spending the most time listening to KJRW than ever!  We met our goal for April with about 1700 hours.  We would like to see 2 thousand hours for the month of May.  Tomorrow is our program director's birthday.  A really wonderful birthday present would be the greatest listening time in the station's history.

WHAT'S GOING ON (at the beginning of July)

NEW WAVE SUMMER IS A HIT! Listening time has increased since New Wave Summer began on KJRW on June 22nd.  The average length of each stream launched in June was the highest since February.  More people visited the station page during the month of June than in any given month in the past couple years. Listeners added KJRW to their favorite lists more times than in the previous two months.  Consequently, the station's rank climbed.

People listened the most in the U.S., Belarus, Canada, Spain, France, Brazil, New Zealand, Switzerland, the U.K., and Peru. Listening in the U.S. was tops in our home of Seattle, Washington (as usual). Texas came in second due to 3 cities spending time with KJRW: San Antonio, Dallas and El Paso.  Other hot spots were Tampa, Florida; Chicago, Illinois; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Albany, New York; Detroit, Michigan; and San Francisco, California.
