Undercover of the Night
That's the title of a Rolling Stones song that I can't decide if I like or dislike. I wonder if anyone has ever covered Undercover of the Night. It is "Under the Covers" week on KJRW. Some people prefer original versions of songs to covers. Maybe it is like the book being better than the movie. I like hearing different versions of familiar tunes. I especially enjoy really thrashy versions of sugary pop songs. Feel free to comment with your opinion. And please join me "Under the Covers". I was in an abysmal road band named Gryphyn (pronounced Griffin - God help us). We used to do Undercover of the Night but if anybody has a tape, I really hope they destroyed it. It was awful!!! For a local band that does interesting covers, you have to one day see the duo Two Buck Chuck - 2 brothers, Sean and Ryan Mefferd. Their version of Brittany Spears "Hit Me Baby One More Time" is the best!
