LAST OF THE INDEPENDENTS

While visiting the Boston area last week, I heard this sad news:
Rock station WFNX being sold to Clear Channel

I remember many nights I sat in the car in the driveway, listening to 'FNX.  What was on the air was so interesting and different that I didn't want to remove the key and go inside the house.  Creativity has been squashed again in the name of profit.  When will the carnage end?
