Hello and welcome to March!  

Taking a look at our first month back online, KJRW has a stronghold on North America and Europe.  We have even infiltrated the Middle East and South America.  Thanks for listening in the U.S., Germany, France, Austria, Canada, Guatemala, Ireland, Sweden, Spain, Romania, and the U.K.

We beat our listening goal by 30% in February!  Keep listening because we are still 63% away from our ultimate listening goal, which we have to reach by the end of October.


Near the end of this month, we begin our Spring Fling.  We will stretch our musical muscles this spring by adding songs you haven't heard lately.  You can send your song requests to kjrwwestseattle@yahoo.com, post them on our Facebook page, or Tweet at us.  While we're on the subject of social media, we just created an Instagram page.

WHAT'S GOING ON (In the Middle of March)

Happy Spring!  Almost 3 weeks into March, listening has gone up 26%.  That brings us almost halfway to our ultimate goal.  Thanks for spending time with KJRW in the U.S., Germany, France, and Canada!

We invite you to share some laughs with us on April Fool's Day, when we'll sprinkle some novelty songs into the mix.  It's no joke - if you don't listen in March, KJRW won't be online in April.  Radionomy checks in on us at the end of the month.

KJRW celebrates Pearl Jam's induction into the Rock 'N' Roll Hall of Fame on April 7th by playing Pearl Jam every hour.  From the Rock Hall:  "The 32nd Annual Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, presented by Klipsch Audio, will take place on Friday, April 7, 2017 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York for the third time....Propelled by the hits “Alive” and “Jeremy” (about a high school student’s suicide), Ten sold over 13 million copies in America, launching a singular career of enduring commercial success (ten Top Five studio albums, half of them Number Ones) and staunch idealism. In the mid-Nineties, Pearl Jam challenged monopolistic practices in the concert-ticket industry; in 2000, they took the live-tape-sharing aesthetic to a new fan-friendly extreme, initiating a series of soundboard-quality live releases from every show – a now-common practice among bands big and new. WHAT'S GOING ON (at the End of February)

We're sad to report listening dropped to 21% of our goal during February.  There needs to be a huge increase in March because Radionomy will be checking in on us at the end of the month.

People spent the most time with KJRW in the U.S., Canada, Germany, France, Greece, Italy, and Mexico.

This Spring, KJRW is gonna get out from Under the Covers and Tighten Up.  KJRW Goes Green on March 17th, with songs from Green Day every hour.

And if we get enough listening hours in March, not only will we get to stay online for another six months, but we will be given the space to add a bunch more songs.

WHAT'S GOING ON (At the Beginning of February)

Hello and welcome to February!  It's been a month since our forced "relaunch" of KJRW on Radionomy.  We are happy to announce that we met our listening goal for January.  Folks spent time with the station in the U.S., Germany, France, Canada, U.K., Poland, Spain, Hungary, Australia, and Mexico.  KJRW was heard in 37 of the 50 United States.

It's a new month with a new listening goal.  We are currently at 40% of our ultimate goal.  Our personal goal is to get halfway there by the end of February.  All you have to do is listen.  No subscription necessary.  It doesn't cost you a dime.
