Hey Kids! We are very happy to report that January was the best month in KJRW's sordid history!
We were picked as a favorite station the highest number of times in a month ever.  We finally cracked the top thousand of the several thousand stations on Live365.com. There are 500 rock stations on the site, and last month KJRW was ranked number 17!!

January has been a good month for KJRW so far. Our rank on Live365.com is climbing, and our rank among the rock stations on the site are the highest they have ever been. Listeners have made us a favorite station over 630 times as of this week.

JANUARY IS THE MONTH THAT CARES

January was Dive Under the Covers month on KJRW.  There were over 2 thousand visits to the station page at Live365.com.  Our rank amongst the rock stations held steady, but our overall rank slipped due to most people listening for free, instead of being VIP members.  But there were more streams launched in January than in December, and KJRW was made a preset station the most times since September.

People spent the most time listening in the U.S., Canada, Spain, Greece, Brazil, U.K., Hungary, Denmark, Croatia and Germany.  Inside the U.S., Alabama, Washington, California, Colorado, Texas, North Carolina, Minnesota, Ohio, Arizona and Florida were tops in listening time.

Songs by Nancy Sinatra, the Doors, Jimi Hendrix, Gloria Gaynor, Elvis Presley, the Rolling Stones and Pink Floyd playing on KJRW??  No, it's not April Fool's Day.  It's Dive Under the Covers month.  You will hear Gang Green take on 'Til Tuesday, Generation X do John Lennon and more all during January on KJRW.

Sometimes covers become more popular than the original versions of songs such as Santana's version of the Fleetwood Mac song "Black Magic Woman" or Jimi Hendrix's cover of Bob Dylan's "All Along the Watchtower".  Are the tunes KJRW is playing more popular than the originals?  Probably not.  But we think they sound cool.

JANUARY HYMN

KJRW has started to climb out of that hole that was December.  Fewer folks are visiting the station page on Live365.com and pressing that play button.  However, those that do are listening longer, so our rank is slowly creeping back up.  We did hit the milestone of 19 thousand page visits in January.  People were listening in these countries:
